The inception of the CCRH Library and Information Centre dates back to 1979 when a small library was set up with a small collection of about five hundred publications to start with. The library then, was set up to primarily to meet the information needs of the Research Staff of the Council. With the passage of time, the library developed at a fast pace, and, in order to cater to the ever-increasing R&D information needs of the professionals, it systematically and gradually grew as a collection of specialized reading materials such as books, periodicals, reference works, serials in the areas of Homoeopathic Research and Drugs & Pharmaceuticals.
